BJP candidate Kunwar Sarvesh Singh died on Saturday in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. Bharatiya Janata Party had given him ticket for the Lok Sabha elections 2024. Kunwar Sarvesh was born on 23 December 1952, his native village is Ratupura of Thakurdwara. Sarvesh Singh had inherited politics. His father Raja Rampal Singh was a Congressman and he has been MLA from Thakurdwara 4 times and has also been MP from Amroha once. Kunwar Sarvesh Singh took this legacy forward. Kunwar Sarvesh Singh’s son Kunwar Sushant Singh is the MLA from Badapur assembly of Bijnor district. Kunwar Sarvesh Singh has been MLA from Thakurwada for 5 terms from 1991 to 2007.

Kunwar Sarvesh Singh, known for his strong image in the state, had contested elections from Moradabad seat in 2014 from BJP. During this, he had registered a spectacular victory and paved the way to Parliament.
