A major accident took place on Yamuna Expressway in Uttar Pradesh on Monday morning. Here a bus was hit by a car coming from behind. The collision was so strong that both the vehicles caught fire with a loud noise. About 40 people were traveling in the bus at the time of this accident. These people broke the glass and jumped and their lives were saved. Whereas the five people in the car did not get a chance to get out. In such a situation, all these people were burnt alive along with the car.
This accident happened between milestone number 116 to 117 in Mahavan police station area of Mathura. After receiving the information, the police reached the spot and with the help of the people present at the spot, controlled the fire with great difficulty, but in that time both the vehicles were burnt and converted into structures. There were five people in the car and all their belongings were burnt to ashes. Similarly, the belongings of the people traveling in the bus were also burnt to ashes. According to the police, the bus that met with the accident was going from Bihar to Delhi.
Accident after bus tire burst
Police said that the driver suddenly got hit by a moving bus and the vehicle collided with the divider. This caused the tire to burst. Since the speed was low, the bus stood sideways. Meanwhile, a speeding Swift car coming from behind hit the bus and within no time both the vehicles caught fire. After the accident, the people in the bus somehow broke the glass and came out, but the people in the car did not even get that chance.
Five people in the car died alive
The people in the vehicles coming behind tried to save themselves, but by then it was too late and all five people in the car were burnt. After this, information about the matter was given to the police. People present at the spot said that after about an hour of relief work, the fire was successfully extinguished. According to the people present at the spot, information about the incident was also given to the fire brigade control room, but till the end the fire brigade vehicle did not reach the spot.
