In Meerut, UP, a girl was killed by her maternal uncle due to love affair. Then his body was thrown into a pile of cow dung cakes and set on fire. At present, the police has arrested the maternal uncle of the deceased. Police say that the girl was in a love affair with a young man. The family members refused a lot but the girl did not agree. Due to which the maternal uncle strangled him to death.
The whole matter is of Chhilora village of Bhawanpur, Meerut, where a half-burnt body of a girl was found in a pile of cow dung cakes on Monday. As soon as the villagers saw the dead body, a sensation spread in the area. Immediately information was given to the police. After which the police reached the spot and took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem and also started identifying the girl.
After investigation, the girl was identified as Trisha (21). The deceased’s father Pramod Kumar himself confirmed this in the mortuary. Police came to know that Trisha had come to her maternal uncle’s house. His father had left him at his maternal uncle’s house. After which the police took Trisha’s maternal uncle Sonu into custody and interrogated him strictly and the matter came to light.
What did the police tell?
According to the police, the accused maternal uncle told during interrogation that Trisha had a love affair with a young man, due to which the family members were very angry. Trisha had a disagreement with her mother on the same issue a day or two ago. In such a situation, the father left Trisha at her maternal uncle Sonu’s house. Where maternal uncle also explained a lot to Trisha to end the love affair but Trisha did not agree. On which the maternal uncle strangled Trisha to death and then placed her body in a pile of cow dung cakes, sprinkled petrol on it and set it on fire.
Meerut SSP Rohit Singh said that a half-burnt body of a girl was found yesterday morning under Bhawanpur police station. After which, when she was identified, it was found that the girl was a resident of Mundali police station area and her father had left her with her maternal uncle a day earlier. In such a situation, after interrogation, the maternal uncle was arrested by the police and the incident was revealed.
The girl was first strangled to death by her maternal uncle, then to hide her identity, an attempt was made to burn the body by pouring petrol at a distance of 400-500 meters from the house. The role of the deceased’s parents in this murder is also being investigated.
