The Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) of Uttar Pradesh has arrested a youth from Hapur. The name of the young man is Satyendra Siwal. He works in the Indian Embassy (Moscow). He is accused of working for Pakistani intelligence agency ISI. According to sources, Satyendra used to send confidential information of the State Department and the Indian Army to ISI. UP ATS has registered a case against him in Lucknow.
According to ATS officials, ISI handlers were in touch with Satyendra. By luring him and luring him with money, they were asking for intelligence information about the Indian Army. Satyendra was also sharing confidential information with him. He is a resident of Shahmahiuddinpur village of Hapur. According to the officials, the movements of the accused youth were being monitored. Besides, his mobile number was also put on surveillance.

Satyendra Siwal was working in the Indian Embassy in Russia. He was posted on the post of IBSA (India Based Security Assistant). The ATS team had called him to Meerut for questioning. During interrogation here he could not give satisfactory answers. According to officials, when he was strictly interrogated, he confessed to his crime. It is being told that Satyendra Siwal’s family members have no knowledge about these activities.
ATS registered a case against Satyendra
A case has been registered against Satyendra in Lucknow ATS office. A case has been registered against him under Section 121 (A) and Government Secret Act 1923. ATS has arrested him. Two mobile phones, an Aadhar card, an identity card and cash have been recovered from the accused. He was posted in the office of the Indian Embassy in Russia since the year 2021.
According to sources, the ATS team is trying to find out how he came in contact with the ISI handler. What information has he shared with ISI so far? The ATS team is also scanning the call records of his mobile. Also, if money was given to him by ISI, then officials are busy finding out the details of that account. According to ATS officials, there was already suspicion about the suspicious activities of the accused. For this reason he was called to Meerut for questioning.
