No one has yet received an answer on whether Mayawati’s party Bahujan Samaj Party (BAC) will be included in the India alliance or not. At the same time, the political temperature is rising amid the harsh cold in Uttar Pradesh. The BSP supremo has been irked by the statement of Samajwadi Party i.e. SP chief Akhilesh Yadav and she has retaliated by accusing Akhilesh of talking indecent things and advised him to look inside his heart.
Mayawati says that Akhilesh Yadav and his government have anti-Dalit habits, policies and working style. The SP chief should definitely look inside his own heart before taking unnecessary jibes at BSP. How tainted has his reputation been in terms of promoting BJP and associating with them.
Regarding Mulayam Singh, Mayawati said, ‘Who can forget the blessings given by the then SP chief to BJP before and after winning the parliamentary elections. Then, how can the public forget the meeting of SP leadership with their leadership when BJP government is formed? In such a situation, it would be appropriate if SP fights communal forces.
Akhilesh Yadav had made this comment
Actually, Akhilesh Yadav was asked whether India Alliance would benefit if Mayawati joins the alliance or not, on this the SP leader said that who will assure the latter. Mayawati has not liked this comment of Akhilesh Yadav. In the recently held meeting of India Alliance, there was discussion about BSP joining the alliance. Akhilesh Yadav does not want the BSP supremo to be a part of the alliance.
If we talk about the last Lok Sabha elections, Akhilesh Yadav and Mayawati had contested the elections together. BSP had benefited in this election. It was successful in securing 10 seats, while SP was limited to only 5 seats. After the elections, there was a rift between Akhilesh and Mayawati and they ended their alliance. The paths of both the parties parted ways. After this, the assembly elections were also fought separately.
Dharmendra Yadav had lost the by-election
The most interesting fight was seen in the by-election held on Azamgarh seat. This seat is said to be the stronghold of Samajwadi Party. Here BJP had fielded Dinesh Lal Yadav alias Nirahua in the election arena and SP had placed its bet on Dharmendra Yadav. SP was fully confident that the party’s victory was certain, but Mayawati changed the whole game by fielding her candidate and BJP’s Dinesh Lal Yadav won. Overall, Akhilesh Yadav was defeated in the political arena by BSP.
