The Varanasi court will decide on January 24 whether the ASI report on Gyanvapi Mosque should be provided to the parties in the case. The court has fixed the date of January 24 regarding the Gyanvapi survey report case, on January 24 it will now decide on making the report public. ASI had filed an application not to make the report public and on this application the court has given date of 24th January.
Hindu side’s advocate Madan Mohan Yadav said that all the parties were to get the ASI survey report on Saturday but the District Judge has given a new date of 26th. Now a copy of this ASI survey will be available to all parties on the same day. Earlier, Varanasi District Court was going to give its verdict on Saturday (January 6) in the matter of handing over the ASI survey report of Gyanvapi Masjid to the parties. However, the court has again extended this date and now January 24 has been fixed as the new date in this case.
Earlier on Friday (January 5), Hindu side’s advocate Madan Mohan Yadav had said that the Varanasi District Court has fixed January 6 to pronounce the order in the matter of opening the sealed report of Gyanvapi complex and handing it over to the parties. He told that the hearing in this case has been completed and District Judge AK Vishwesh said today that the order has not been typed, hence the order will be issued tomorrow, Saturday.
Let us inform that on Wednesday, ASI had requested the district court to give four weeks’ time to open the survey report of Gyanvapi complex and hand it over to the parties, after which the case was postponed till Thursday. ASI had cited the recent decision of the Allahabad High Court while asking for four weeks’ time.
