Ramnagari is decorated and is ready to make many records. This time a record of lighting the largest lamp will also be made in Ayodhya, preparations for which have started. It will cost Rs 7.5 crore to prepare this lamp. The diameter of the lamp will be 28 meters. The consecration of Ram Lala is to take place on January 22 and preparations are going on with the efforts of every person to make it grand. On this occasion, preparations are being made to light the world’s largest lamp.
It is placed in a 28 meter diameter lamp in Tulsibari of Ramghat, which is named after Maharaj Dashrath, father of Lord Shri Ram. Preparations are being made to light the lamp by adding 21 quintals of oil. Lord Ram used to worship with his entire family in Tulsiwadi during Tretayuga. After taking bath on the banks of Saryu, he used to come here for worship, hence even today its name is Ramghat. It is also known by this name in government documents.
Swami Paramhamsa gave information
Saint Swami Paramahamsa of Tapasvi Cantonment told that after studying the scriptures and Puranas, the shape of the lamp is being prepared according to the shape of humans of Tretayug. According to Paramahamsa, in Tretayuga the height of man used to be 21 feet i.e. 14 hands. Its description is found in the scriptures and Puranas. In Satyayuga it was 32 feet i.e. 21 hands, in Dwapar it was 11 feet i.e. seven hands. In Kalyug the length is between five to six feet.
Seven and a half crores will be spent
Approximately seven and a half crore rupees will be spent in preparing the lamp. Its wick is being prepared from 1.25 quintal cotton. A team of 108 people has been formed for this. Swami Paramhamsa claimed that this would be the largest lamp in the world. This also includes the faith, hard work and devotion of the devotees across the country. Before this, only a nine meter diameter lamp was lit. The team of Guinness Book of World Records has also been contacted to register the name in the record.
