Prayagraj. No decision could be taken even on Wednesday in the divorce case between Uttar Pradesh’s famous SDM Jyoti Maurya and her sweeper husband Alok Kumar Maurya. The divorce petition filed by Jyoti Maurya in the family court Prayagraj was not heard today. In today’s hearing, both Jyoti Maurya and Alok Maurya did not appear in the court. An application for exemption from appearance was filed by the lawyers of both. In this case, the court has postponed the hearing by fixing the next date as January 18.
Let us tell you that UP’s famous female PCS officer Jyoti Maurya has filed an application in the family court for separation from husband Alok Kumar Maurya. After becoming PCS officer, there was a rift in the relations between Jyoti Maurya and Alok Maurya. After which, a case of domestic violence and dowry harassment has also been filed on behalf of Jyoti Maurya in Dhumanganj police station of Prayagraj. Meanwhile, the dispute between the two went viral on social media recently. Husband Alok had also accused Jyoti Maurya of having relations with Home Guard Commandant Manish Dubey and taking bribe. However, later husband Alok withdrew all the allegations before the inquiry committee.
After which it is being said that there has been a reconciliation between the two. The basis for this is also that both of them are not appearing in the court since the last two hearings. Once again both of them applied for exemption from appearance in the court, after which the hearing was postponed. It is being said that after husband Alok withdrew his corruption complaint from the government, the two have reconciled. However, the case has not been withdrawn yet from Jyoti Maurya’s side.
