In such a situation, implementing the instructions of CM Yogi, the Principal Home Secretary has issued a letter to the District Magistrates, SPs and Police Commissioners of all the districts. In this he said that they should ensure effective advocacy in the court to punish the top 10 criminals of their respective districts.
He has also given instructions to inform the government about the action, so that it can be reviewed regularly and a report can be presented to the Chief Minister. Principal Secretary Home Sanjay Prasad has instructed all the officers to ensure 100 percent presence of witnesses in the court, testimony and effective advocacy to punish the top 10 criminals identified in their respective districts.
