Lodha (Aligarh). On Thursday afternoon, a tractor went out of control and overturned on the roadside near village Tajpur Rasoolpur on the Delhi-Kanpur highway. Two people died after being buried under it. Of these, one is from Baghpat and the other from Badaun. After the post-mortem late in the evening, the bodies of both were taken to their relatives.
Sarvendra, resident of village Aagpur in Bisauli area of Badaun and Suraj, resident of village Malakpur in Baraut area of Baghpat, used to work in a private company to lay fiber pipeline on the roadside. At around 2 pm on Thursday afternoon, both the youths were going from Gabhana towards Khereshwar with a tractor. There was a water tanker attached to the rear of the tractor. The accident occurred near village Tajpur Rasoolpur. Both the youths got buried under the tractor. A crowd of people gathered.
With the help of the police, both of them were taken out and sent to the district hospital, where they were declared dead. There is talk that some vehicle hit the tractor, but the police did not confirm.
Inspector Vipin Kumar said that the tractor went out of control. The reason for this could not be made clear. Both the youths worked in a private telecom company. Got the number of the company official. But, the phone is switched off. The relative has also not made any allegations. No complaint has been given. If a complaint is received, investigation will be done and action will be taken.
