A case of fighting between BJP leaders and traffic police has come to light in Aligarh district of Uttar Pradesh. Aligarh Police is preparing to register a case against all the people for assaulting the on-duty traffic inspector. Inspector Kamlesh told that people from a party held him hostage for 2 hours and beat him up. BJP leaders and workers blocked NH-91 for two hours regarding the incident. BJP workers are demanding action against the traffic inspector.
The incident of fight between BJP workers and traffic police took place near Malviya Library of Banna Devi police station area. Actually, the car of a BJP worker collided with the car of a traffic TI in front of Malviya Library of Banna Devi police station area of Aligarh. After this the dispute between the two increased. Dozens of BJP workers reached Malviya Library on NH-91 and raised slogans demanding action against the police.
Forces from several police stations reached the spot
As soon as information about the uproar on the National Highway was received, several COs along with forces from several police stations reached the spot. An effort was made to understand the BJP workers who were protesting. While giving this information, BJP worker said that yesterday also a vehicle was hit by TI. Whose information was given at Banna Devi police station. No action was taken on this matter.
Traffic inspector threatened
At the same time, the BJP leader alleged that when he was leaving GT Road late at night. Just then TI’s car was coming from the front. Seeing him, he tried to hit him but he narrowly escaped. The car fell on the ground. Due to this, there was a lot of damage to the vehicle. When a complaint was made about this, the traffic in-charge threatened and said that you do not know me. Will pick you up and put you in jail.
After much persuasion the matter was resolved
After this, BJP workers informed their other colleagues about this. A large number of BJP workers reached the spot and started creating ruckus by sitting on NH-91, raising slogans against the police and demanding legal action against the traffic inspector. After much persuasion by the police, the matter calmed down.
