Although an application for reconciliation was filed by his elder son Adeeb on Friday, but later he did not turn up for reconciliation. New prisoners coming to the jail are kept in this barrack, which is temporary. Here, after testing the prisoners for Covid, they are shifted to other barracks. Similarly, a temporary barrack has also been made for women prisoners, in which Azam Khan’s wife Tajin Fatma is confined. The jail administration has prepared their file, according to which Azam Khan has been given prisoner number 338, his wife 339 and son 340.
The matter is related to two identity cards
Now this is his identity in jail. Azam Khan, his wife and son were sentenced to seven years in prison on October 18 by the MP-MLA Special Court Magistrate Trial. This punishment was given for making two birth certificates of Abdullah. Azam Khan has not been able to meet his wife even once in the last two days.
Jail Superintendent Prashant Maurya said that when members of the same family are lodged in jail, they cannot meet daily. A day is set aside for this. Till now no one has come to jail to meet the three. Adeeb Azam’s slip came on Friday, but he did not come for the meeting. The health of all three is normal. Azam and his wife have age related problems. Medicines have been provided to him by the jail doctor.
