India has touched the mark of winning 100 medals in the Asian Games 2023 being played in China. This has happened for the first time in the 72-year history of the Asian Games. Along with congratulating the countrymen for winning 100 medals in the Asian Games, Prime Minister Modi has also announced that he will meet the Indian contingent going to the Asian Games on October 10.

This is India’s best performance so far in the Asian Games. India has so far won 25, 35 silver and 40 bronze medals. Earlier, India’s best performance in the Asian Games came in 2018. Then India got 70 medals.
