Meerut. Two days ago, the investigation into the allegations of a Kharkhoda teacher keeping a pistol inside his bike was not yet completed when a plumber in Kithore’s Radhna accused the police of keeping a pistol inside his scooter. It is alleged that the scooter which was brought to the police station with Rs 50 thousand was abandoned.
SSP has handed over the investigation of the case to SP Dehat. Plumber Firoz alleged in his application to the SSP that after returning from work on Wednesday afternoon, he had parked his scooter in the enclosure. At around 8.30 pm, three policemen reached her house and took the keys from her mother, saying that the scooter was stolen.
It is alleged that on the pretext of investigation, the constables placed a pistol in the footboard of the scooter and videographed it. After this, Scooty was taken to the police station along with the pistol and threatened to send him to jail. When he asked the police through a person to release the scooter, the police demanded Rs 1 lakh.
It is alleged that they took Rs 50,000 from Firoz’s uncle and his associate and left the scooter on Thursday morning. Firoz also showed the footage of the CCTV installed around the perimeter to the SSP. CO Pawan Sharma said that there is no footage of the constables keeping the pistol in Firoz’s scooter.
Footage of him going near the scooter has been found. It has become clear in the investigation that Firoz’s uncle and his friend had taken Rs 50 thousand in the name of police. Investigation is being done on what basis the scooter was released from the police station.
