Husband Alok Maurya withdraws complaint against Jyoti Maurya
Her husband Alok Maurya has withdrawn the complaint against PCS officer Jyoti Maurya. Appearing before the inquiry committee on Monday, Alok requested to withdraw the complaint in writing. Alok declined to comment on why he withdrew the complaint.
Chairman of the committee, Additional Commissioner Administration Amrutlal Bind says that the committee will move forward only on the instructions of the higher officials. It is believed that there is a secret agreement between Jyoti and her husband. It is possible that soon Jyoti may also withdraw her case. She had filed a dowry harassment case against her husband at Dhumanganj police station, after which Alok complained to the government that Jyoti had done illegal transactions with people by misusing her position.
On the instructions of the government, Divisional Commissioner Vijay Vishwas Pant had formed the inquiry committee of Additional Commissioner Administration, ADM Administration and ACM I.
