Men’s team disappointed
The Indian men’s team faced arch-rivals Pakistan in the final. Pakistan captured gold by defeating India by 8 wickets. The two teams met face-to-face for the second time in the tournament. Earlier in the tournament, Pakistan defeated India by 18 runs. Batting first, India scored 185 runs for 3 wickets. Pakistan won the match by scoring 185 runs losing 2 wickets.
