Moradabad: On Friday, a case of rape of a woman working in a mall in Uttar Pradesh’s Moradabad at gunpoint has come to light. The victim alleges that the security guard of the mall raped her at gunpoint, in which the supervisor and the house keeper also supported the accused. The police have registered a case against all three.
The victim, who was working as a housekeeping staff at PVR Mall located at Kant Road under Civil Lines police station area of the city, was raped by the security guard working in the same mall. The victim has said in her complaint that the supervisor and the housekeeping staff also supported the accused in committing the crime.
After this incident, the accused also threatened to kill the victim’s husband if she told anyone, after which the victim left the job and remained silent for some time. Due to this fear, she started staying silent in the house. Two days ago, on the question of her husband, the woman narrated her ordeal.
SSP Hemraj Meena said, “The case has been registered on the basis of the woman’s complaint in which she has alleged that on February 27, when she was changing her clothes in the mall’s changing room, a security guard forcibly entered the room.” Entered and raped.”
The SSP said that a complaint has been registered against the accused in the police station. Medical examination of the victim has also been done, along with the entire matter is being investigated. At the same time, the SSP assured, “No one will be spared, strict action will be taken against whoever is found involved in this incident.”
CO Civil Lines Anoop Singh said that on the basis of Tahrir, a case has been registered under sections 342, 504, 506, 376, 120B and 354 (a) of IPC.
