New Delhi. The increase in the spot prices of gold and silver was recorded on Thursday. According to HDFC Securities, gold prices rose by Rs 105 per 10 grams in Delhi. Due to this, the price of gold in the national capital reached Rs 44,509 per 10 grams. In the previous session, the price of gold was at Rs 44,404 per 10 grams. Similarly, silver rose by Rs 1,073 to Rs 67,364 per kg. In the previous session i.e. on Wednesday, the price of silver was at Rs 66,291 per kg. According to HDFC Securities, the rise in the price of precious metals globally led to an increase in the price of gold and silver in the national capital.
Tapan Patel, senior analyst (commodities) at HDFC Securities, said, “The price of 24-carat gold in Delhi has gone up to Rs 105 per 10 gram. On the global level, this increase was seen due to the nightly increase in the gold price. ”
Navneet Damani, vice president (commodities) at Motilal Oswal Financial Services, said, “The US Fed in its statement on Wednesday kept the policy rate moderate. This led to an increase in the price of gold. ”
On Thursday, the international price of gold was at $ 1,738 an ounce. Similarly, silver was priced at $ 26.36 an ounce.
Gold Price in Futures Market
On the Multi Commodity Exchange at 05:37 pm, the price of delivery gold was rising by Rs 60, or 0.13 per cent, to Rs 44,900 per 10 grams. Similarly, in June 2021, the price of delivery gold was trending at Rs 45, Rs 0.11 per cent to Rs 45,254 per 10 grams.
Silver Price in Futures Market
Silver price of MCX in May, 2021 at 05:40 in the evening was trending by Rs 368, ie 0.55 per cent to Rs 67,595 per kg. Silver for delivery in July 2021 was up by Rs 346 to Rs 68,604 per kg.
