Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given top priority to the quality and timeliness of the pipe drinking water schemes under construction under the Jal Jeevan Mission and has taken strict action against the negligent officers and employees. Under the government’s zero tolerance policy, strict disciplinary action has been taken against 183 officers and employees in the last four years. Out of these, investigation has been initiated against 122 officers and 55 have been given adverse entries, while 6 have been suspended.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is completely serious about the quality of the works of Jal Jeevan Mission. He has made it clear that negligence will not be tolerated at any level in the schemes. Action is being taken against the officers and employees found guilty on the basis of regular monitoring and evaluation of the works under the mission.
Disciplinary action taken against officers
Under the Jal Jeevan Mission, the most action has been taken against executive engineers so far. So far, instructions have been given for disciplinary inquiry against 7 chief engineers. While action has been taken against 4. Apart from this, investigation has been done on 5 superintending engineers and action has been taken against 7. Investigation has been initiated against 59 executive engineers. Whereas 04 have been suspended. Along with this, investigation has been conducted on 32 assistant engineers and 2 have been suspended. At the same time, disciplinary investigation has been done on 19 junior engineers. In this way, disciplinary investigation has been done against a total of 122 officers who have been negligent, notice has been issued to 55 and 6 have been suspended.
Action will be taken on negligence
CM Yogi Adityanath clearly said that those who are negligent in the development schemes in the state will not be spared at any cost.
