Mumbai: Actor Ejaz Khan is once again in legal trouble. This time a woman has filed a complaint against him accusing him of rape. Charkop Police of Mumbai has registered a case against actor Ejaz Khan.
According to the woman who accused Ajaz Khan of rape, Ejaz Khan sexually exploited her by promising marriage and a role in his web show. According to the complaint, Ejaz offered the woman to join his show House Arrest as a host. The show streams on the Ullu app.
The complaint further states that Ejaz Khan proposed to her and later asked her to convert. After conversion, he promised to marry her. The complaint also alleges that the actor called her to his house, where he sexually exploited her.
According to the complainant, on March 25, Ejaz Khan called her to his house by making a false promise of marriage and raped her. She told that after a few days, Ejaz again sexually exploited her by promising marriage. The woman claimed that Ejaz assured her that he would take full responsibility of her. His religion allows 4 marriages.
While the Charkop police is investigating the matter, a separate FIR has already been registered against Ejaz at the Amboli police station over his OTT after a complaint by the Bajrang Dal. In that case, Ejaz was accused of indecent portrayal of women and showing obscene content. The police have registered a case under sections 64, 64(2)(m), 69 and 74 of the Indian Justice Code (BNS) and are investigating further.
Ejaz Khan has not always been away from controversies. His web show House Arrest, which began on April 11, 2025, has faced severe criticism from political and social groups, with many calling the show obscene and demanding action from the government.
The National Commission for Women (NCW) has also summoned Ejaz Khan and Ullu App CEO Vibhu Agarwal for ‘obscene’ content shown in the streaming platform’s reality show. The commission has summoned the show’s host Ejaz Khan and Vibhu Agarwal to appear on May 9.
Ejaz Khan’s House Arrest began streaming on the Ullu app on April 11 and is described as an uncensored take on popular captive reality shows like Bigg Boss and Lock Up. The series has 12 participants, including 9 women and 3 men. All of them are locked in a luxurious villa and are asked to do various tasks.
