In Hamirpur, UP, a fierce fight broke out between the constable’s wife and his girlfriend in front of the police station. Women from both sides started pulling each other’s hair. In the middle, the family and the female constables of the police station came and separated them and took them to the police station. The police have challaned both of them for disturbing the peace. A video of this fight is also going viral on social media.
A woman resident of Padora village under Kharela police station area of Mahoba district told that her husband is a constable in PRB in Majhgawan police station. The constable lives with his wife and children in a rented house in Atrauliya locality. Her husband has been having an illicit relationship with a girl from the locality for seven months. When she protested against this, her husband started beating her. On January 2, fed up with her husband’s beating, she went to her maternal home. On February 10, her brother-in-law brought her home from her maternal home. On Wednesday, she went to the accused girl’s house with her sister to convince her. On the spot, her husband and the girl beat her and her sister and broke their mobile and scooty.
The constable’s wife along with her sister reached the police station to lodge a complaint. There a dispute arose between the two parties. The constable’s wife and the young woman got into a scuffle at the police station gate and started pulling each other’s hair. Seeing the women fighting in broad daylight, a crowd gathered at the police station gate. Hearing the noise, the women constables of the police station came and separated the two parties and took them inside. Inspector Ram Asare Saroj said that action has been taken against both of them for disturbing the peace.
